The constantly rising demand for healthcare witnessed in Iraq in the past few years will continue to translate to the growth of the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors over the forecast period. According to BMI (Business Monitor International) Research, Health spending is expected to increase from USD 9.963 billion in 2015 to reach USD 12.004 billion in 2020, while pharmaceutical sales are anticipated to reach USD 2.180 billion in 2020 from USD 1.710 billion in 2015.
